Hey y'all,
I was wondering if I could make a script for Live 8 to make a Behringer BCR2000 function similarly to an APC40, where, say, the first row of 8 knobs are dynamically mapped to control the 8 macros on a rack on the selected track.
Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!

Re: Creating a controller script for Ableton like the APC40?
it seems possible but I don't have any experience with that specific machine; however, I will say that since that thing is MIDI controlled you should easily be able to just click the MIDI button at the top right then everything will turn blue click the knob you want to map and then turn the physical knob that you want to map it to... and it should work.
But if that doesn't work it is creating an error with the midi send, which is so damn aggravating.
Then it may still be possible but I am not the guy to ask

Find the user config script in the preferences folder and customise that to match up with the dial's midi numbers. A search here will tell you everything you need to know (instant mapping). Getting session launch functionality is more difficult. Check out hanz petrov's site for an overview and some scripts.
