using live with digital drums=scene launching

I'm looking to set up for live performance with a new band.

We have a drummer, bassist, guitarist, vocalist, with samples and beats
in live sets.

I would like to play my digital drums as the drummer AND control launching scenes;
essentially being the drummer and the dj at the same time.

I'm thinking of laying out the major parts of the songs as scenes( intro, chorus, hook, etc,.),
but....

I only have two drums I can use to map to live ( I only have 8 pads in all .)

Can I trigger up and down the scene launch buttons during performance with the two triggers?
Or is there another option??
