My track wont play in arrangement view

Hey guys. I'm running ableton live 8 on PC with windows 7. I'm very new to this and had a friend of a friend show me the absolute basics but i cant get a hold of him anymore to ask questions. When I'm in arrangement view and play the track it doesn't play the clips in the way i have arranged them (it will just keep playing all of them in loop). I have no idea how to make it so i can hear the actual track and not just the clips played in loop. Please help!!

there is a pinkish button on your transport panel that looks like this http://jonm.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8345597 ... 970b-800wi
press it whenever this problem arises, your clips are playing out of session view, this will take you back to your arrangement.
