What are some of the better compressor and eq plug ins

Cytomic : The Glue

Heard a lot about this. A few questions if anyone can help.....

How are you using this primarily?

As a compressor on the master? Or as a compressor on individual channels? Is it good with sidechaining on individual channels?

i mainly use it on channels / groups (drum bus etc..). very rarely use it on the master. its fine with sidechaining for me, although the inbuilt ableton compressor has a lot more options with the sidechain, so depending on why you're sidechaining it might be a bit 'simple'. of course you can send your sidechain signal through another channel first and process it that way.

the thing with the glue is its really easy to use and it sounds great. its not an all-in-one compression toolbox like DMGAudio Compassion and lacks some of the features of compressors like the ableton one, but as a day-to-day workhorse its unbeatable (imo etc..)

All mentioned compressor plugs might be great, but my choice is best: meldaproduction! they also have a freeware compressor!

I've heard nothing bot praise for Cytomic's The Glue bus compressor, modeled after an SSL bus compressor:
