When i freeze, or flatten a reason synth track in ableton the output becomes high pitched distortion.
It happens with u-he Ace as well.
Anything i render from an external synth comes out high pitched with what sounds like digital distortion.
Any ideas?

Problem freezing and flattening reason...distortion.
Re: Problem freezing and flattening reason...distortion.
After much monkeying around i have worked out a solution...although it is not ideal.
I have to disable my audio output entirely. When i am on the move i use a Numark DJio, i normally have this running via ASIO. After disabling, i can render the audio (freeze and flatten), afterwards i enable the Numark DJio and all is fine.
If i freeze the track when the Numark is enabled the result is unlistenable.
Weird.
I wonder if this is an issue with the Numark DJio...anyone else using a DJio? Any issues with freezing?
I will try it on my X-Station audio interface and Fast Track-Pro at somne point and post my findings.
