IMPULSE drums,draw in drum tracks?
Trying to find IMPULSE so i can "Draw in" drum tracks, i remember it being in LIVE 5 but seems to dissappeared after that.Currently using trigger finger,battery 3 for making beats but need to be a lil more astringent on some timing (im not a drummer) for complex rhythyms. Any IDEAS greatly appreciated THX

It's still part of Live 8 as one of the two default instruments (Simpler being the other). If you somehow deleted it from your library you can download it when you're signed into the Ableton site. Head to "Your Downloads".

im still using ableton 7, as i hant seen the need ot go to 8 for what im doing so far, although looks like that time has come up. As far as impulse goes, i click on it, open all the windows, but dont see any of the prompts to open the map mode(not remote midi) where i can "draw" in markers to activate a sound.
