M4L keeps loading new instances until crashing

Hmmmm, so booted up Live, then dropped in a new Max Instrument, and then hit the Open/Edit button, and it then started continuously loading new Max windows of the same device over and over again until it crashed!

Have tried with various Max devices and it keep doing it again and again.

Anyone else had this issue? have reinstalled to no avail.

It appears as though the when I click on the Open/Edit patch button, that button becomes stuck, because if I'm real quick, I can just about stop it loading more instances if I try and hit that button again twice in between new instances being loaded.
