Live 5 first render

Post by conny » Sat Jun 18, 2005 11:36 pm

Not much of a tune but more of a "I was first!".
Arp, saturator and flanger are used.
Sound from NoteGraphica, Impulse and Simpler.
Insets are an audio to midi and a side chained gate.

And I could drag that sucka directly from the desktop into live, the warping was perfect, and I didn't stop playback, I could just instantly remix you. Beautiful.

That would be cool I agree. When I rendered I saw wav and aiff options only. Rendering to mp3 would be a neat little trick to have. I reckon they will put that in there if its not already. If they can do the conversion from mp3 to wav then they can probably do the conversion from wav to mp3, just a matter of finding the algorithm that does it. The process might require everything to be rendered to wav then the resulting wav converted to mp3 and the rendered wav (or in this case temporary file) deleted. Or perhaps a render to wav 'and' mp3 option, that would be cool. 8)
