APC step sequencer bugs

Hello fellas.

I recently downloaded the great patch from Ableton's Mark Egloff. I experienced some issues with Live 8.2.2

When I set the focus to the APC Step Sequencer device everything works perfect but when I select another track APC doesn't switch to its default mode and the clip matrix is still at step sequencer. Even by turning off the max device, APC won't reset. I have to reset APC by its on/off button or from MIDI/Sync preferences.

Any ideas?

That's strange. What version of Max are you using?

i have the exact same problem! hehehe and to answer your question Mark i use Max 5.1.8

This only happens to me every now and then, and as someone said, I generally have to toggle on and off the APC40 in preferences, or turn the APC40 on and off, or hotswap the device with itself. occasionally restart Live.

I do notice when I open my Live set containing the Step Seq patch, I usually have to hit one other Track Selection button, and then re-engage the patch to make sure it's all working smoothly.

That's valuable feedback. I will try to fix that for the next upgrade.

If anybody using 5.1.8. can reproduce when it works and when it doesn't, I would appreciate if he/she could post that info in this thread, thx!
