Zeta+ and Live 4.1 - continual crashing!

I recently bought RGCaudio's Zeta+ VST and tried to use it with my version of Live 4.1. whenever I try to "rescan" my VST folder with Zeta in it, Live crashes. i've tried everything! does anyone have any other ideas? is this a common bug with Live, or is this a problem with Zeta?

uhm... you didn't list anything you tried... so 'any other ideas' is sort of outside the realm of my latent psychic abilities...

Are you on a mac or a pc? Are you running the latest version of live? Have you tried to re-download the z3ta plugin? Can you run the stand alone application and get it to load successfully?

I have been running it completely stable on my pc for a year or so now... either as a plugin or stand-alone.

I believe RGC released an update to z3ta pretty recently. Not sure if it addresses your problem, but it might be worth a try.
