Ableton seems to work pretty good for me, startup has always been a little slow since I got my mpk49, but now it just stays on the splash screen. It will stay frozen forever, once I unplug the mpk49 it starts right up. Anyone have this happen?
Any way to fix this. Strange that this happened all of the sudden.

What version of Live are you running? What kind of computer do you have, and what is your OS? Did you modify the template set in Live? Do you have any other controllers or interfaces set up, other than the MPK?

I think I got it running. By disabling the midi ports 2 and 3 from the MPk 49 in ableton under the preferences. Now it starts up pretty fast. Hopefully it stays like this!

Yeah, if you're just using the USB of the MPK49 it's really not useful to enable to MIDI ports anyway.

I disabled the midiports and ableton still freezes up on me at stat up, and whenever i drag plugins like VCC. I have to end up unplugging the mpk and plugging it back in, and then it wont work at all.
