I'm using 4.1.4 and I have been unable so far to record MIDI clips in session view. I haven't found anything in the docs saying you can't do this, but the recording tutorial only addresses recording MIDI clips in arrangement view (which works fine for me). I have no problem recording audio clips in session view, and am rather perplexed.
I am using Reason as a rewire slave, and have my Reason 'external control' preferences set so that my controller is on bus A. Is this causing Live to pass the MIDI events along without recording?
