Hi there,
I have definately had this working, but here we go...
Want to sidechain compress a synth pad with a kick using the Live compressor. I create the two tracks and insert a compressor on the pad channel. When I open the compressor device panel, and expand the sidechain panel, the sidechain looks disabled but the panel toggle lights up in yellow when I press it. When I pick the kick as sidechain input, the tiny meter shows the kick signal, but the compressor does not do what it is supposed to. The EQ section works just like I expect.
What am I missing?
Thx,
Petter

The "FB" (Feedback Design) Model of the compressor does not support Sidechaining (also not "lookahead").
Switch the compressor to "FF1" or "FF2"
cheers, palmer
