Virus 4.5.0.16 Beta crashing Live 8.2.2

Hi,

I seem to be having some issues with my Virus Ti and Live 8.2.2.

When closing out of a project, or opening a project from Live's browser, or closing Live, I am getting this message-



Not always, but happening quite a bit.

I am using Access Virus Ti2 desktop with the Public beta 4.5.0.16 TiO/s.

Anyone else having issues? I have sent email off to Access and Abes.

Both that version and the previous release version seem to do weird shit to all the USB ports on my MBP under OSX, so tempted to give up with v4 and go back to a v3.

I'm having the same problem. I really hope that the final 4.5 version fixes this but I highly doubt it.

I`m also having this problem....lots of crashes....Is it also with the au. never check`ed it myself.
In my next projekt i switch too the au version of the virus, Don`t wanna go back too version 3

Thank you for your email. We are aware of an issue that can cause the supported DAW softwares to crash on Windows 7 when a Virus TI plugin is loaded into a session.

We already addressed a bunch of things in this direction, but we didn't catch all possible causes as of yet. We hope to be able to get rid of this with an upcoming OS.

Seems like this issue is not only a Windows 7 problem.

Not getting crashes on OSX - instead it's acting like its taking too much power from USB port and causes other devices to act like they have just been reconnected every few mins. Right pain on the arse.

i have live 8.2.2 and the new beta virus OS.in a TImk1.

The VC is overloaded i think. Its USB port is taking too much these days from the usb bandwidth available in the computer.
it crashes my audio card with it. even on longer latencies. (blue screen stuff).

i have XPSP3. 32bit.

I have tuned the laptop to accept 64 samples at 48kHz. no problem until this latest ti OS arrived.

I have took some advice that came which was to divert the TI audio thru analog outs instead of the USB.
This seems to help. not ideal though as the ti sample perfect sync is lost.

one thing i did switch off is automatic check for update of VC. that will try to access a disabled. net access.
and i dont want VC to even try. this is definitely causing problems.

one thing with the new os and live 8.2.2. it syncs brilliantly!!! much much better and less frequent is the
wobbly starts seen by the virus after starting straight on an Arpeggiated ti part.

My system with the latest O.S from Access is running like champ!

I installed the latest Virus beta version (4.5.1.15) and it works great. Not a single crash after that.

So the latest Virus beta 4.5.1.15 works great on 8.2.2.

I have had a few issues with 8.2.5. I don't know if they are related to the Virus.

Can anyone confirm?
