What is the MIDI scheme of the Akai APC20?

I would like to see if any one out there who has an APC20 can figure out the default MIDI scheme from it so I can compair it to the APC40 and see if they operate on the same channels. For example, the launch pads on the 40 start from the upper left corner in the Clip Launch section with MIDI channel (MC) 1 on Control Number (C#, not to be confused with the note C sharp <C#>) 54 or F2 followed downward respectively by MC1 F#2, MC1 G2, MC1 G#2, and MC1 A2 (C#: 55, 56, 57, 58). The stop clip button counts down from MC1 E2, to MC1 D#2 in the "Clip Select" section, then M1 D2 on the "Activation" section, MC1 C#2 on the "Solo/Cue", and MC1 C2 for the "Record Arm" section. all the other channels behave the same way but on their respective MIDI channels like channel two operates on MC2 and so on.
If some one would just confirm that this is the same way that the 20 is mapped or post a schematic that would be a great piece of information to share.
