Toneport KB37 and Live 8

So I'm having absolutely no luck trying to set up this (kind of) new Toneport KB37 with Live- I've run the install disc that came with the thing, plugged it in and installed the drivers and even gotten new ones from the line6 website since I've heard their stuff doesn't play nice with Vista. The problem is that even when i select ASIO as my driver type and the toneport as my audio device, it doesn't show up in 'Midi ports' int he MIDI/Sync menu. Meaning it does a whole lot of nothing.
I've looked in as many manuals and other forums as I can find as for what to do, and no one else seems to have this problem. It's not listed as one of the preset Control Surfaces in the MIDI sync menu, and the only thing I have under 'midi ports' is Output for regular MSGS Wavetable Synth. What the hell do I do?

I'm having exactly the same problem.....I even tried looking in the midi/sync menu for Line6 products but no luck. Does anyone have a solution to this??

I'm currently attempting to set up the toneport KB37 with ableton live 8 as well and running into the same problems.

Anyone have suggestions?

What steps did you take to install the line 6 ASIO drivers and KB37 drivers?
I've been using the KB37 for about a year now, trouble free.

Make sure you run the midi tools program in the line 6 program group(start menu, programs, line 6, tools?)
