Setting Up Saffire 6 to 2 Channels of Mixer

Looking to see if anyone out there has a similar set up where they are using the two RCA stereo outputs (1/2 for one stereo channel and 3/4 for the other stereo channel) from a focusrite saffire 6 into two separate channels of a mixer for DJing, and how they have it set up with Ableton to send separate audio into the separate channels. I can only get the same thing to play in each channel. I want to use mixer's crossfader to mix the separate channels coming in from ableton and also utilize my turntables which are hooked up to the mixer as well.

Generally the way you'd do this is to have two tracks in Live, with outputs set to 1/2 and 3/4 respectively (instead of Master). Make sure your Saffire's routing is set up to allow this - check the drivers and documentation.

I think I've got the routing part down because both the 1/2 channel and the 3/4 channel are showing a signal in Live when assign the audio track to a particular output - my guess is that I am getting tripped up in the between the separate audio tracks and the Master Output. The Master Output only allows either 1/2 or 3/4 to be the main channel output and the other is assigned to the cue. I can crossfade the channels through Ableton's mixer on the master channel, but I don't want to do the mixing of the channels within Ableton, I want to do the mixing of the channels on my hardware mixer's crossfader. It seems like I am almost there, but I am missing a fundamental step.
