recording live drums?
im going to shortly be getting an interface to record live drums and then quantize, and i was wondering how i would route it in ableton so that each drum is on a seperate track, and whether ableton would allow me to route the signals from each of the mics seperately from the interface. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: recording live drums?
Like most DAW programs, Live will let you assign your interface's separate inputs to separate tracks in Live.
You do this by creating the track in Live, and setting it's "Audio From" choosers to your interface, and the specific input on that interface. So in the case of a drum set, you'll have one track in Live per mic.
I'm not sure what you mean by "route the signals from each of the mics seperately from the interface" though? Could you clarify?
