Mapping loose midi notes to a tempo

So I freestyle on the keyboard, no metronome, and on playback i come across a nice phrase, so I cut out the phase, and now I want to change the tempo of the track so it matches the phrases tempo. How do I do this?

select the notes in the midi editor, right click 'stretch notes'
