Level moving ithout touching the fader of the APC 40.

Hi guys and sorry if my issue has already been posted.
My problem is : as i launch a new set with apc 40, the 5th track (default set : 8 tracks - 4 audio and 4 midi so the first midi track) the level of the 5 th track is moving without touching the fader on the apc 40.

I tried this solution : disable all controls in the preferences for the apc 40 or enable all (remote - sync - track), the issue is still the same : level on screen moves (indeed the apc 40 has not motorized faders

Is this a hardare problem - apc 40 fader broken - i don't think so.
Or is this a preferences problem?
As far as i think, it's just plug and play and i don't need a particular mapping - for the time beeing.
Have you guys already experienced this problem?

Ok, let's make things clearer.
When I put a midi device on track 5, let's say a live instrument like a drumrack, i have a fader on screen and this one moves even if i don't touch the physical fader on the apc.

i treid to switch tracks and put that track 5 on track 7and indeed, the level doesn't move.
But as soon as i put something on track 5 an audio or midi track the level moves without touching the fader on apc 40.

It's very boring because i loose a track and a physical slice on the apc 40.
As i said, i tried many settings in the preferences by switching on or off the buttons under the midi sync tab.

Have you guys a solution?

Hi everybody and thank you for your replies.
Unfortunately, it seems that my apc 40 track 5's fader is broken...
I actually don't see other explanation...
@ ShelLuser: any tracks on trak 5 is having problem : level on sreen moves without I touch the physical fader on the APC 40...
I think the physical fader is broken even if it seems ok...

Anyone of you has a solution for replacingthe fader? Should i take my unit to the AKAI support?
I live in Belgium and do not know where to take it back... Moreover, it will take several weeks and money to get it back...
I think my warranty is over as i bought the apc more than a year ago...

Hi guys,
i think I have found a start of a solution

this link shows the motherboard of the apc.
You can see when you zoom in, the reference of each part like faders (p22 c14 etc etc)
The next step is to find a dealer who sell these parts and find a maintenance centerfor them to repair.
Maybe quicker than bring the apc to Akai Support...
I keep you inform.

Oh, one more thing, i will try to spray some Contact cleaner/lubricant in the fader and see what happens...
I will avoid contact 60 wich can be harmful to the fader
