Re: Apple buying Ableton?
If Apple bought Ableton that would be the day to go find different music software...
But I find it hard to believe that the folk at Ableton could treat their long-term loyal Windows customers so badly. Everyone knows how Apple treated Logic PC users, and I just can't see Ableton would condemn their Windows customers to being treated with the same disregard. It would be a such a betrayal, and I hope that somebody from Ableton could quickly dismiss this rumour and reassure us that it is not happening.

Re: Apple buying Ableton?
hehe, no Apple will not buy Ableton
but Apple bribed Abelton to use roman numerals for the upcoming version of Live!
So no Live 9, but Live IX
What everybody would read as Live iX and thinking it would run only on a Mac would rush to by one

Re: Apple buying Ableton?
If any company I would want Live bought by would be Cubase (Yamaha) whatever
because that Steinberg audio engine is hard to beat but the workflow is sooo 2000 they need a redo

Wow, since Redmatica is a subsidiary of Ableton, it's only a matter of time before the big announcement is made official!!
