Post by dobleton » Sat Aug 13, 2011 8:13 pm

I Test this gear in my Dell Optiplex on Windows XP Pro SP3 and work fine but the PC is a little slow, yesterday i buy other PC, Quad 4GB Ram MB Asus etc. I go to windows 7 or install Windows XP? which I recommend and Why? Pro / Cons

Windows 7 64bit has been fine for most people. I'm assuming you have the 64bit version
Have you noticed how you don't hear much about it? That's because most people don't have anything to complain about and you only hear about products when people are having trouble.
If you had more than 4GB of ram there would be no question at all because XP is old and can't use 6 or 8GB of ram.

The only thing you need to take into consideration is if your audio interface (soundcard) has good drivers that support Win764bit. I wouldn't trust any company that hasn't bothered to update their drivers by now anyway.
