Sequencer retriggering

Post by penepasta » Sat Aug 13, 2011 1:53 am

Greetings, I am Sequencing one of my synths with Live and I was wondering how to get the first note of the sequence not to just retrigger, but rather glide from the note at the end. It's a long filter sweep, so the re-trigger every measure is really annoying sounding, and I have set the synth to glide between notes, so that's not an issue. This seems like it should be possible, I just haven't found any documentation about it.

How I would do it:

Create version of clip that is twice the length (sequence plays twice)
Move loop marker to beginning of second sequence
Make sure that the last note extends beyond the 'end' of the loop, also make sure first loop's last note goes through to desired length

Good luck!
