Hi Peepul!
I'm new to all this so you might have to be patient with me but I'm only just coming around to mixing with CDs and software (old vinyl duffer alert!).
I've spent the last few weeks mucking about with Ableton for doing studio type sets as opposed to live mixing and while I seem to have the basics of warping and effects pretty much sussed, I seem to be having a fairly consistent problem with a few tunes.
I'm about 6 clips into my set just using 2 audio channels in arrangement view, but when I put one of the three clips in that I want to mix to next, it's fine when I first put the clip into the arrangement, but as soon as I warp it from the first beat, it goes into double time and doesn't match up with the clips that are already in the arrangement.
Now there's every chance I'm doing something wrong rather than it being the fault of the software, but I simply can't get my head around what I'm doing wrong. It seems to have worked for every other clip no problem, so why now? Is it something wrong with the last clip in the arrangement (which looks fine by the way, but you lot know better than me)?
