Pitchbend, etc. only recorded in the CLIP not in Arangement?

Is there any good reason why Pitchbend, Modulation, Channel Pressure etc.. (Midi Ctrl stuff) can only be recorded in CLIPS and not directly into Arrangement so you can see it in it's own lane? If I move a knob on my MIDI controller it gets recorded with the arrangement but I'd like to do this with Pitchbend also.
My guess is that it's not possible.

Can't say on the reason, but yeah. That's what's up.

It's still pretty easy to automate these parameters in the clip's envelopes. But if you want to automate more than one clip at a time, you have to consolidate them first.

OK, I just managed to record pitchbend in it's own lane in the arrangement view. This will only work with VSTs that expose their automatable parameters to Live.

I used Sylenth to test this out.
click Unfold Device Parameters (the black triangle)
click the configure button that appears (it turns pink when I click it)
Go to Sylenth and move the Pitch Bend wheel with your mouse (not the REAL pitch bend on your controller)
un-click configure
This will add a slider named PitchBend
Click on it to select it
CTRL-M to enter midi map mode
Move your REAL PitchBend wheel on your controller
Now PitchBend will have it's own lane in Arrangement View.
