Was just wondering if anyone knew how I could go about using the built in audio interface in the Traktor Kontrol s4 with my access virus synth/ Ableton?
Currently I have the Traktor Kontrol s4 set up and connected to my Mac via USB. I then have the Acees virus Synth (c) midi out connected to the midi in of the Traktor. Was wondering if anyone knew how I go about getting the sounds from my synth to go through the audio interface of the Traktor and into Ableton?

As I understand it the S4s sound interface should show up as an ASIO sound card in Ableton if installed correctly.
Connect audio out from your synth to one of the line ins on the Traktor S4.
Set up an audio track in ableton, select the Traktors audio in channels that the synth is connected to.
Record arm the track.
...?
Profit.
Or am I missing something

I've never worked with the Traktor Kontrol before, but I believe it should show up as an audio interface in the audio section of Live's preferences, and should work like any other audio/MIDI interface. Ditto for the Virus, I presume it works like most other synths and there isn't anything weird you have to do to set it up.
Assuming this is true, you're on the right track - yes, the MIDI out from the Virus should go into the MIDI in on the S4. You can connect MIDI out from the S4 to the Virus' MIDI in as well, if you want to send MIDI data to it from Live.
To get the audio into Live, you need to connect the audio as well! MIDI isn't audio, just instructional codes, so you need to actually plug the audio out (usually a pair of 1/4" jacks) from your synth into the appropriate audio input on your S4. On top of this, you need to make sure that the S4's inputs are recognized by Live (do this in audio preferences in Live), and you'll need to create an audio track and set that track's input to whatever input you've used on the S4.
Make sure to either arm that track for recording or set its input monitoring to "in" if you want to hear what's coming into it!

Alright when I get home tonight ill try what you guys have posted! Hopefully it works!
In addition to my questions above.. how will I go about actually playing the sounds in ableton then? I have my Midi keyboard connected to the MIDI in of the Access Virus synth so I am kind of stooped there.. My midi keyboard is connected to the computer via USB (and the midi keyboard does work with all my VSTS and such in ableton) so once I get everything set up properly will my MIDI keyboard connected to my computer via usb still control the sounds I upload from the virus into ableton?

I'm not entirely clear on what "how will I go about actually playing the sounds in ableton then?" and "the sounds I upload from the virus into ableton?" mean, but here's a basic explanation so hopefully you can get it set up tonight.
The Virus can probably be configured to either make noise in response to MIDI from your keyboard, or to ignore such input and pass it along down the chain to something like Live. How you set this is going to be described in the Virus manual; I don't know offhand how it works.
So obviously if you want to be controlling VSTs and such then you'll want the Virus to just pass those MIDI notes along for Live to deal with, and if you want to play Virus noises then you want the Virus to make sounds in response to note data - those sounds will then go out the Virus' audio out jacks and you can record them in Live as described in previous posts.
I'm pretty sure the answer to your questions is "yes"

From this post I'm guessing you have one of the Virus synths that DOESN'T have a keyboard otherwise you wouldn't also be using a sepearte MIDI controller keyboard.
Which model Access Virus synth do you have? If so, does it have a USB connector on it?
