Best Buy is pissed off at HP and demanding they take back and refund them for the remaining 245,000 crap tablets out of 270,000 they bought that they haven’t been able to sell.

It’s also speculated that the 25,000 they did sell doesn’t account for any that were returned so sold and not returned numbers could be a lot lower. It also points out a gaping hole in company’s sales reports. HP could report they sold 270,000 tablets but that’s not to end users, that’s to a retailer (who is pissed).

Yes. HP. Well. Fuck em. And fuck Google and Samsung and the rest of them. Christ, it's really amazing just how far off the mark these guys are with their 'iPad killers', lol. It's like none of them really get it. Even the fucking commercials suck.

I was jazzed over a year ago when reports began to surface about that first HP tablet. Surface? Tablet? Fuck it, can't even remember the name. Balmer showed a non-working demo I believe. I thought, fuck, that's for me. Flash. Microsoft Office suite.

Right.

More fool me.

The shitty thing? Awesome competitive product is what will really keep Apple on their toes. When there's no one even remotely in the same playing field, you just get lazy.

HP will be reduced to a printer only manufacturer. Why? Because up to recently they were the only company that made printers you can airprint to from an idevice.

I think Apple is going to cause many companies to go into near bankruptcy, not just because of the awesomeness of their products, but because of the current corporate mentality of ego, greed, and share holders screaming "goddamnit, make something to compete with Apple's .....". Competition is good but not when you're basically copying and 10 steps behind the world leader. "Rushed to market" is going to define the next 10 years of competition.

And we're reaching near price equilibrium where competitors can no longer count on consumers buying their product simply because it's cheaper than Apple. That or lower their prices to make their profit margins extremely thin....or go the usual route of saving money by making shit quality products.

AND I've read a lot of reports lately where competitors are finding it difficult to even build their products because Apple is taking up so much of the world's tech resources and assembly lines.

FFS. I can't think of 1 new "innovative" product in the last several years that wasn't either mimicking Apple or including technology to use with Apple products. Competitors are bigger Apple fanboys than the Apple users.
