8.2.2 is creating random volume automation within region?

since I've updated to 8.2.2 I have a problem which occurs randomly among different 3rd party plugins.

while recording in notes (or creating regions in any way really), I get random volume automation written within the region (under the envelopes tab, I think its called "clip automation" maybe)

I have to go in and manually delete it, and sometimes it comes back. is this happening for anyone else?

I have 8.2.2 running in os x 10.6.8 snow leopard on macbook pro 2.4 ghz (late 2008)

bump, just in case anyone else has this problem? i emailed support about it today.
