Weird midi adjustments or is my APC 20 broken?

Hi there,
as you read in the topic I have got an AKAI APC 20.
I'm really satisfied with it, but I have a little problem with it since a while.
As you may know the APC 20 has a master control on its right side.



This control doesn't work anymore since a while.
But Ableton Live receives signals and I'm not sure if they are coming from the APC 20.
You know this little yellow field on the downside of your Live window when you move a midi knob on your hardware but its not already there where the knob in the Live window is?

I mean this one:


Its the master knob, wich should normally be controled by the broken (?) knob of the APC 20.

The first number ( on the picture the -42.173dB) jumps very fast up and down without touching any knob on my hardware, but it never reaches 0.0dB.
This happens on every project in Ableton Live.

Could you help me please?

You need to call Akai support. I had a similar issue once with my APC 40 and indeed I had to send it in to get faders replaced.

I don't want to miss APC 20 for weeks

This is what was happening to mine. The volume faders on certain channels would randomly move around without me touching anything. Turns out the faders themselves had to be replaced on those channels.
