Ableton Live Lite won't import files

Hello,

I've installed Ableton Live Lite (Akai Professional Edition) that came with my Akai MPD26. When I try to drag and drop files like mp3's and .wav's, it shows up a circle crossed by line and they can't be imported. There's exclusion for some files, but most of them, about 80%, can't be imported.

I have the same problem with FL Studio 9.

That Lite version doesn't provide support for mp3 files, that is most likely your problem.

The comparison chart claims that it does, but this has already been confirmed to be a bug. SO my guess is that this is also what's causing your trouble.

I've tried using .wav files, but they can't be imported as well. Also, I have the same problem with FL Studio 9.

I don't think those files are corrupted, because I was using them before my PC went to service. This problem appeared since I got my PC back from service. I'm struggling with this thing for a week and a half. I've reinstalled FL Studio and Ableton, Windows audio codecs but still can't find the root of the problem.

P.S. I had the same problem few months ago and ended up formatting my PC.
