auto output audio device i/o configuration?

I move a lot from the studio to the couch and back over the course of the day with my MacBook Pro. In the studio I use an external usb audio interface and on the couch I use headphones and the headphone jack on my computer. I'm constantly having to reconfigure the output audio device to be "built in" or "external".

Does Live allow a user to set a priority level on previously seen audio devices such that it would set up for my external usb interface when it was present but otherwise setup for the laptops internal soundcard in its absence automatically? I imagine I just might not know how to set it up. Seems like it wouldn't be too difficult of a feature to code and would save me having to go set properties 8x a day if it isn't already in there.
