Akai LPD8 & battery 3 problem

Post by Carlitasoprano » Sun Sep 04, 2011 3:15 pm

Hey everyone, so I recently bought an Akai LPD8 and have been trying to use it with Battery 3 however I am encountering the following problem:

When I am playing a beat in Battery 3 tapping the individual pads on the Akai to trigeer a snare roll (for example) I can the beat I am playing as I am recording it, however in playback, it records the triggers as a single hit. Not as the full roll. Has anyone got any idea why this would be happening? Hope that makes sense, I am new to this so help would be appreciated. Cheers

You probably have set "Record Quantization" to 16th or less. Deactivate it in the edit menu and resave your default template .

Seems to be happening again with a bass I've created using massive. It's not recording any of the Frequeny or attack cut-offs I am playing. I can hear these fluctuations when I am recording but not in playback. Record Quantization is off. Any ideas?

Cheers
