Serato Virtual Output?

Post by Fak » Thu Sep 01, 2011 11:35 pm

I was going through the settings on Ableton the other day
and i noticed in the drop down menu for Outputs there was 'Serato Virtual Output' as an option.

It got me thinking, is it possible to output my Ableton session through the output of the Serato box- straight into my mixer, without using Bridge?

Ideally if this was possible, it would mean I could split my session into two channels and allow me to cue tracks no my mixer.

Which outputs did this pop up in?

I only ask because i believe it's a way that Live sends Midi across to Serato, meaning you could use some dummy clip stuff i imagine to create some shifty effects....

Then no you can't split the audio, it's how it sends the master to serato for it to be output with one of the decks...

Bridge 2 maybe..
