im still use OS9 for Live 4&Protool 5 TDM.is wrk very Excellent.Pls Keep os9 A-live

If live still release Both OSX&OS9.i keep buy it.thx so much

the reason that OS9 is no longer supported is that you have had 7 odd years to switch to OSX. Its not their fault if they can no longer support old technology and its a smart move to make.

Making you argument is like saying "cmon abletons! i want to still run Live on my ATARI!"

just get OSX and reap the benifits. Like a new version on Live and ALOT more cool stuff.

OSX is $127, and a new mac is as low as 1000 if you don't have one that can already run OSX.

i kn..but Protool TDM Sync Live on OS9 is much faster 4 my wrk.if i use anothor computer is more trouble.Live Switch from os9 to X so easy.but TDM to HD is talk about us$20000.
i own G5&powerbook.but main use G4 DP1.25(os9)for my music production

Yeah it would be really great if Ableton would let you download Live 4 OS9 if you still want it. They don't have to keep upgrading it, but at least offer it to folks who rely on OS9 because of its old plug-ins and stuff.

I want to be able to buy Live 5 for my OSX computer, but also be able to get Live 4 for my OS9 iBook. Ableton, can you hear me?
