Pitch Problem Importing Samples?

I cant figure this out and I need help. Every time a import a audio sample from the search in browser and drop the sample into an audio file it changes the pitch. Even if I import my drums into drumrack and play the drum pattern the drum sound different. Another example if I input a kick from the browser drop it into an audio track and play the kick the kick sounds like it is transposed upward. It does this all the time. If I do the same process with Logic it stays in the same pitch as the original. Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted?

It sounds like you might have a problem with the sample rate of the samples that you are importing. Try asking tech support directly about this, at http://www.ableton.com/support/contact_ ... al_support

This might be moot but maybe you have Repitch set as yr default warp mode? In Live's prefs, you can switch it up (beats, complex, so on) under the Record/Launch/Warp settings.
