Why is this forum spamming my Email account? Im afraid to open anything from ABLETON now.

I just thought I haven't had any, noticed a PM and checked it - it was rubbish/spam. A few seconds later it said that user was no longer registered!

(Obviously I just got emailed about having the PM too)

just received a mail from Ableton.. saying

Hey it was some guy who spammed me too it said jeepersrules 100000 times down screen, i reported it and they have removed his account, i got same message mate

Mine was in my SPAM folder in my email account. Ableton newsletters are okay when they arrive normal. Iwonder why did this one go into SPAM? Was their some kind of attachment?

Hi - this user is a troll that we've removed multiple times. To clarify, did you receive these messages as PMs, which were then forwarded to your email inboxes (as "new message" notifications), or were these direct emails to you from the spammer (bypassing the forum)?

I had 2 PMs on the forum and 2 notification emails. Both the same "CPEREZZZ RULES" multiple times.

My email outside of this forum had an ableton forum email in my SPAM folder.
I see now there is a 1 new message on this forum sent by Author:Anonymous at Wed Sep 07, 2011 1:38 pm.

I dont want to open it.

OKAY, gotcha. the answer is YES, I got it as a NEW MESSAGE NOTIFICATION.

I feel strangely compelled today to say this guy, cperezzzz must pretty darn rule. No idea why.

"Everyone's saying, "cperezz this," and "cperezz that", but nobody's saying "Worship this," and "Jericho that"!"

In fairness to ableton, they locked down the spam pretty fast, everybody just got emails to notify them of the pm. My ableton email went directly to my inbox. Thats normal Im assuming,

Yes, sorry for the garbage - you can easily delete those messages from your PM inbox. Just wanted to make sure that this old troll (he's been around here a few times) didn't get up to any new tricks.
