Intrinsic Revolution Via the purchase of sustainable tech

Post by HipBonanza » Fri May 20, 2011 10:30 am

Technolgy is good our use of it aint.

Simple idea buy as many solar panels/windmills as your budget can afford. regardless of who or where you are even if you cannot use them.
this will unavoidably jolt the market into Very affordable alternative energy via the laws of economics

If you cannot afford to buy any panels or windmills save up until you can DO IT NOW!

Use public transport as much as you can, i know how depressing this is i live in england and public transport is relatively poor, but hydrogen and battery powered transport
has been around for a long time now and OIL COMPANY'S DON'T WANT US TO USE
THIS TECHNOLOGY how else they make a profit out of there wage slaves i.e YOU!.
Same thing with the energy company's and at present you do belong to them in an
economic sense of course.

AVOID LABELS AND POLITICAL IDEAS DESIGNED TO BRAIN WASH YOU INTO MONOTHEIST DECISION MAKING COMMUNISM/SOCIALISM/CAPITALISM/MEDIA/
THE ROAD YOU CAN WALK DOWN IS NOT THE SAME ROAD YOU CAN TALK ABOUT

AVOID SELF RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE WHO WRITE SWEEPING STATEMENTS IN CAPITAL LETTERS IN ORDER TO TRY AND GAIN DRAMA AND EFFECT

read all you can by Robert Anton Wilson this will dramatically increase your brain capacity to understand new things and reshuffle the old things, watch all of bill hicks
material, listen to them they knew what they were on about.

if you love your child and his/her its future you will do this come on adults shall we
take responsibly for the direction of humanity's future, or shall we continue down our current path?

one earth one culture one set of problems all intrinsically linked

Last but not least "think for your self and question authority"

pass it on it might work you know... :)

I thought it was another excuse to blame obama thread.

Although the OP does make some worthy statements.

Thanks perhaps worthy perhaps self righteous hippy claptrap
Maybe it's divergent of reality to suggest there's a better way
in which capitalism can function

Maybe everything is as it's meant to be and any utterance about it is
but hot air from a sheep who's ego has fallen from the heard...

Maybe... :?:

Technology is evil. Don't flush your toilets, just shit in the woods.

Don't let our apathy discourage your passion. Stay true to thy known self.....I am just old and washed up, caught in the maze of feeding my kids and maintaining an ounce (30 grams) of creativity when time permits.....usually once a week.
I too was once idealistic. Yes I did a stint off grid, lived in a yurt, grew vegetables, my own dope, was inspired by the hydrogen revolution potential, etc...... 8)

I lived with a wind generator as my main power source for a while, fairly fucking useless, it's surprising how little wind we get when you need it, I live 1500 feet up in the Pennine hills on an open hillside, if they don't work here they don't work anywhere, once your batteries are flat you're knackered.

not to mention the vibratory hum they omit once they are actually working, is enough to drive you crazy...or at least me. Not conducive for music production.

You need to be fairly minted to afford a set-up that would be reliable enough to provide a reliable source of constant power
when they build wind farms they do surveys of the area and work out which direction the most constant wind flow blows. this can triple the output of the windmill also the size of the wind mill like kites dictates how much wind the windmill needs to turn the larger the windmill the less wind it takes to keep the windmill turning with a decent gear system of course.

I know quite a few people who are getting along just fine with windmills and a grid of solar panels
not to mention opus jody who is running quite a substantial sound system with just solar power however...

the point I am trying to make here though is one of economics at present the 2 biggest industry's in the world
are 1. the weapons trade and 2. the energy/oil trade
This means that because the info-structure for these industry's is already very strong
it's a safe bet for fat greedy bankers to cash in on.
The fact that there are a lot of technology's out there
that would contribute to an abundant and more balanced society is seen by the capitalist giants of power
as a threat to the control and strangle hold these mother f**kers have on the entire profit making population

It's not about what's best or what's needed for a better world with these C**ts
and the only thing that will ever change it before we destroy all that's left
is many many many people becoming aware of these things supporting the good shit
and boycotting the bad.

That's a very good point! at present it's swallowed up by the economy and most likely ends up funding the antithesis of sustainability
what is known in economics as growth.
As there is no distinct link any more between the money that exists in the world and the resources that money represents it will ultimately add to the mess of interest vs debt

What is clear in economics is the idea of growth boom when a particular sector of the economy experiences a growth boom lot's of money and resource is thrown into that sector in a bid to capitalise on that niche of the market

That is pretty much how the stock market functions and it is also how the weapons and oil industry's maintain a dominant strangle hold on all other sectors of the economy. Every one needs to get from a to b every one needs to keep warm and everyone needs energy
If you introduce abundance into a system that relies on the illusion of scarcity. how do you maintain that strangle hold on what is the biggest profit making industry in this entire godless world?

You don't instead you fill peoples heads with glamorous ideas about what they will never be.

You sell them things and make them dependent on dreams and ideals they will never become.

You make females feel like they can't leave there houses with out plastering on a ton of shit make up that makes them look worse than if they needn't of bothered.

You make most of the drugs that promote and increase perceptive ability illegal

You sell them shitty fatty food that makes them unfit and incapable

You make most of the drugs that dull the senses and make people dumb legal

You broadcast Ricki lake/trisha/jerry springer for 24 hours a f**king day

You make the news un-objective and one sided

You make people feel like it's OK to live in a world that is completely unequal where %80 of the world live in slums. as long as the %20 have there relatively over-privileged lives, That would be me and you by the way.

You sell people the idea we need weapons to feel safe and maintain homeland defence

You give them false religion false hope and false faith in place of any kind of instinctive spiritual ideas of independent and unconditional love

And most of all you sell people the idea of a thing called democracy an idea that each of us is free ultimately in making a choice in the way society is run, when in fact our systems of government are anything but democratic and are in fact very much draconian and totalitarian

Unfortunately though where all to blame for this current situation because we all support this shit and don't make the right choices
im not suggesting im any better here either im really not im just as much of a shit c**t as the rest of you but sooner or later the time will come when people are going to need to start saying what are we going to do about it all together collectively as a mother f**cking planet

Or why not just waste 100's of thousands of years of evolution so we can become the cultural equivalent of a bunch of muling f**ing cabbages Like I said im properbley just a sheep that's fallen from the heard who belives in the words of his heroes and idols
and has taken far to many evil psychedelic drugs whilst reading far to many evil books.

There's a part of the film, little big man where the Indian chief explains it all much more succinctly then I ever could.
He say's the difference between white man and the human beings is where white man see's everything as dead and inanimate the human beings see everything as being alive the rocks the ground the clothes are all alive and part of the dance of life and are all alive
(the human beings where what he called his Indian tribe)

sorry if any of you felt the need to read through all of my laborious rant I will kindly shut up now :|
