intensive 2-3 week course in prod/ableton/composing??

Hello,

I am amateur in composing, playing guitar and piano, and producing music. I mostly have great fun with it up to now.

I noticed that I loose my motivation, don't have enough skills and don't make progress as quick as I could. Therefore I think I need some "immersion".

So - what I am looking for:
- music school - possible somewhere in europe, where they teach ableton, music production, composing, possibly live playing.
- intensive 2-3 or 4 week, possibly everyday training

What I am not looking for is online training. I just don't believe in it in my case.

If anyone can recommend some schools, people or particular courses - I will be greateful.

Hey mate thats a pretty broad range to set for a precise answer or suggestion, 'somewhere in Europe' im assuming money is no object for you then to be able to travel anywhere in europe and live and pay for course there for a month, so in that case theres point blank in london they do courses that last 4 weeks or more or less, and or intensive, moderate or beginner, or sonic academy do a school session in Ireland in summer months, so next year they do one that lasts for a month or you could go to berlin to sae which is suppose to be best one out of the sae's which ive never personally been to, but Point blank i can recommened as i do the sound design and ableton production certificate there right now, other then that search music schools europe, sure you find 1000's on google.

I know theres broad range, but I am just amateur, so I want to educate broadly. The goal is to be able to make my pieces finished and shiny, to get some experience from pros, and to have som advanced knowledge about music production.

Yes I think I can afford going abroad, that will exclude me from my life and make me more concentrated I think.

Ill have a look about mate for you too later today and post some links back here if i find something thats more precise for you btw not sounding like im selling a course i can only speak from experience but the pb course im on i get taught by danny lewis, martin roth and some other pro producers, but depends ofc what style music you looking for but for real instrument combination with ableton and production theres soo many to choose from and alot run same way as that with different prices, if i find some more later i will post links up, surely other guys on here will know some more places, with respectable prices too ofc, good luck mate.

I do mostly sort of chillout, and record some real instruments, but mostly I use ableton/VST instruments and record via midi.

one more idea; maybe instead of schools there are options to get some consultancy from someone from here? one of you? I've got some material, lots of questions, something to work with - and need someone who can assist/help/teach me. I think few days of working together plus one weekend would give me this "kick" and skill improvement I need.
