MIDI question

First off, new to the forum, so hello everyone!

Probably a simple one, but lets say im using my MPK mini with Massive, but want to switch it over to operator, how do I go about doing that? When I simply try and click on Operator, the MIDI is still connected with Massive? The only way I could get it to operator is to sometimes remove what I'm currently working with, and open up a new MIDI track. I don't feel like I should have to do this.

using racks and the chainselector (with chainselector filters midiCC) is a great way to switch and selectively control VST's.

Use the track monitor button.

I don't have a clue how to use the chain selector...
Where is the track monitor button located?

Next to the volume fader of each channel, there is a mute (number), solo (s), and monitor button (circle).

The circle button is actually the Record Arm button- the monitor controls are the buttons above the channel in/outs that say In, Auto and Off.

Thank you guys for the help, and ace I just thought about that last night =P haha, totally forgot about the instrument rack.
For future reference though (I must be blind), where are the channel in/outs, auto and off?

click on the i-o button in the lower right corner of the screen to make the in/ouputs and the monitor visible.
