Project folder / collect all and save problem

Post by jorgenfu » Mon Sep 19, 2011 9:47 am

Hello! I have a problem; I searched the archives but couldn't see that anyone else has brought it up.

I want to "Collect all and save" so that my song is in a neat folder with everything. However when I try to, after I click "ok" on the "Specify which media..." box, another box shows up briefly saying "Reading package information..." before disappearing. After that? No project folder exist that I can find.

In fact it sounds like a project folder should appear automatically when I save a new project? For me it doesn't; every project is just saved as an .als - file in the Library. Unless I overlooked some folder copntaining all the projects...

Any ideas?

Jorgen

Go to drop down menu
Click on ' Manage Files'
Click on 'Manage Project'

Then you can see every clip, preset, sample, loop and anything you used that has been saved, in the one project file.

Next to save to a nice tidy bundle as a live pack instead of a als file, click 'Create Live Pack' at bottom of the menu.

Choose your place on your computer you want to save the live pack for this project, then thats it, you can have everything you have done all in a bundle there as a live pack and open up from your als from there.

If that still dosent make sense, go to page 31 of the manual and it will explain everything in more depth :D
