sound cracking

I'm on macbookpro I5, 4GB ram, leopard, Ableton Live 8.2.1
I configured the latency with the tutorial

I have a problem when i create a midi clip in the session mode ;i have a sound cracking appears at the moment when i drag and drop the midi clip

i don't know what is the problem ?

What level of latency have you set? Which VST are you using? Whats the CPU meter showing when you have the issue? Are you using ASIO4ALL?
