will plug ins work under lion?

Hi,
i've just got a new MacBook Pro and i can download lion for free during the first 30 day.
But I've only heard a bad things about lion from other musicians espacially concerning plug ins.
Will non of my plug ins work without an upgrade?

I´ve got Lion and it´s crap. Many "functions" are a step back, really. No one needs that, maybe later but at the moment it´s just causing problems like it seems.

lion no longer supports PPC applications, so i had many plugins i had to ditch on the way over to lion. be forwarned.

do you mean that only power pc(thats what PPC means right?

) plugs won't work but newer ones will?

yes, power PC. check to see if the ones you often use are PPC. i'm guessing newer plugins will adapt to this if they want their plugs used on newer macs...
