I'm getting into the sampling game (I've resisted, but I just woke up one day and said "why not"), anyone know a good source for acapellas? I don't mind paying, as long as I can preview. I can manipulate the tempo by using warp markers, but can I manipulate both the tempo AND the tuning of the sample? I ask because I'm trying to find a site where you can search by Key. Any help would be appreciated,

Are you looking for acapellas of well known tracks?
Because anything other than phrases like "ooh", "aaahh", "baby!" or similar will be copyrighted - because it's a song, and it's been written by someone.
There is Creative Commons stuff (ccmixter.org) but you won't find 'hit songs' there...

http://www.acapellas4u.co.uk is good for finding stuff like that. Lots of artists release stems of their tracks for remix contests and they end up on sites like this.
