Individual EQ in instrument / drum racks?

Hi,

Messing about with some drum racks and trying to apply EQs to individual drum samples so I can EQ them so they sit better.

When I drag an EQ 8 into the chain it seems to affect all the samples i the rack and not only the one I am trying to EQ.

I have also used an instrument rack with several Simplers to try and layer kick drums but again trying to EQ each layer is tough when I can't figure out how to process each individual sample or layer.

I assume this is possible - any thoughts as to how? I am sure it is probably something obvious I am missing.

Managed to figure it out.

In case anyone reads this post having the same problem the effect should be dropped into the pad in drum rack and the device chain in instrument rack.
