I'm looking for a small (lpk25) midi keyboard with pitchbend

Post by djadonis206 » Mon Sep 26, 2011 3:06 pm

I'm looking for a small midi keyboard similar to the LPK25, only with a pitchbend wheel or stick. Space is limited. Plus, I don't play keys.

Any recommendations? I've looked and can't find any

Thanks

Akai's SynthStation25 is meant to be used with an iPhone/iPod Touch but it's 25 keys and has pitch+mod wheels on it.

It's more MPKMini size than LPK25, but still nicely compact and of pretty beefy build quality

Yeah, I saw that. I was curious if it only worked for Iphones and such. Interesting

Microkey and Alesis's Q37 are both nice, except they're too long for a laptop bag so they end up not being as portable as most people in the market are looking for.

Most of the features that make it cost $100 you need an iPhone/iPod Touch to access, but it's a perfectly good 25key wheel-equipped keyboard in its own right.

also searching for keyboard with pb & mod in small size I checked it but unfortunately the quality is so bad in comparison to the akais, esp. the keys :(

this one is quite new:
at least it has 3 buttons for pitch up, down & mod like the korg nanokeys, but even with touchstripes it would be much better...

p.s. I´m hoping for an akai lpk25 mkII with touchstrips for pb & mod! 8)

yea I guess you'd need a slightly bigger bag.

As a general rule of thumb, yes. However, that thing is so small I don't think it matters

Been thinking about the Microkey, but I'm waiting to see if they will add a sustain pedal jack.
People are modding them to have it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_g29VP0Llk
