I've tried almost every possible solution, so this is a last resort!
I have an Evolution UC-33e and an Evolution EV-XS (X-Session) MIDI Controller. About two weeks ago they were both working perfectly fine in conjunction with Live 4.1.4. Then, I went on a two week vacation and brought my laptop but not my midi controllers. When I got back and tried to use them with Live, Live wouldn't recognize them anymore. They were installed correctly before, and I've tried every combination of reinstall, new drivers and rebooting. For the record, the Live 5 beta doesn't recognize them either.
Any suggestions?
I'm running Windows XP with a P4 2.4ghz Processor and 752mb of RAM.

Firstly, do they appear as midi controllers on your Windows hardware profile.
This verifies whether Windows can see the devices.
If it can't - what happens when you plug them in?
If Windows can see them OK, are they listed as midi inputs in Live?
