Hey all,
First off, I'm very new to Ableton so my understanding of all the terms is pretty limited, and also there could be a simple fix for this.
Specs:
Macbook Pro (Circa 2008)
Intel Core 2 duo
2.5 ghz
2 gb RAM
Running Ableton Live 8 (8.2.1)
Problem:
When running a session that a friend created (Just starting to use Ableton for our band's live performances and one of the members made a session for backing tracks), I get these quick loud 'pops' or 'cracks' of white noise at the same spots in each track/sample. They always happen at the same point in each track, but they DO NOT appear in the wavform at all.
I don't have the MacBook hooked up anything else, so its using whatever onboard soundcard thats already built in.
Could be drivers, but I'm up to date, so I'm not sure.
Any ideas?
Loud "Cracking/White Noise" that doesn't appear in wavform

Update/bump:
A friend of mine has the exact same model of MacBook, and we tried the same session in the exact same version of Ableton on his, and its doing the exact same thing.

Okay, I'll give it a shot and post the results.
