Wait... Hold up...

I think your under the impression that I give a shit about what people think of me. I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't...

When your spreading disinformation you need to have your nutts locked into a vice. Plain and simple. I dont know why the fuck you would want to defend blatent misinformation just because you think the dude is "good guy." What kind of crunchy, hippy shit is that?

OH RIGHT, I GET IT! Now I'm a tough guy because I don't give a shit about some random person on in the internet...

We can meet at your usual spot (The Endup) and I can say the same thing to you in front of your face if you want. Will that make me an official "tough guy" then? Cause that sounds kinda cool actually. I'll pay the bridge toll for that satisfaction! Well worth the $4 bucks! Hell, its worth the $6 bucks at rush hour.

Oookay.

You obviously haven't ever been wrong in your life, have you? Or are you already spayed and neutered as you put it?

This forum is for discussion and sharing opinions. There are other forums for the "one truth", I'm sure.

Anyway, I would really like to see Live go 64 bit. But the thing is that right now I have quite a stable system so I'm in no hurry atm to make any changes.

I'm getting hopeless with the limitations of the 32-bit functionality :(

Currently, I have eight songs in my live set, and I simply can't add anything more to it or it WILL crash.
The odd thing is, I honestly don't have anything big in my set.
I have NO synths, heavy plug-ins etc.
Only Simplers, Samplers, Drum Racks etc.
There's a little over 100 tracks in total, most of them really light...containing a pad sound, drum racks, a Sampler bassline etc, some FX sounds etc.

I've bounced a lot, too, and have nothing heavy left.

I should add a few more songs to it, but I can't.
Not very hyped about the idea of having to build another live set and wait for that to load in the middle of the gig.

How have you overcome this problem?

I'm running the very latest 17" Macbook Pro with 8GB of ram.

nah that's his M.O. he likes to show up randomly every couple of months guns blazing, insults flying and then chimes out like he was never here. his "technique" reeks of alter nick. he claims he doesn't care what anybody thinks... i call bullshit. hot. steamy. bullshit.

It's strange & amusing in equal measure to see you goons accuse so many seperate people of being the same person.
That's some odd kind of narcissism you got on the go there :)

i find it quite easy to run out of memory in ableton, infact its the only time live crashes for me.
Same here, since 8.27. I may have turned off Page Filing for the drive Live is on or my Audio Partition if that makes a difference...

Bounce everything to audio. Everything. no midi. If the entire set is audio based you really should have no problem running it with your specs. In fact, it should run very lightly.

Yes, well, I kind of figured as much.
But...that's highly limiting (well I know you must know that) in terms of tweakage.
