Map midi controller to RootKey in Sampler Not available! HUH

Am I missing something?

I can play a sample hold down the key and move the RootKey position in Sampler with my mouse but there is no way to assign a midi control to that parameter.

Anyone have any suggestion? Or am I missing something?

You can't change the rootkey position without the mouse.

hey, i have the same request, the only solution i could think of, was just recording the situation created on the fly when i was changing the rootkey with my mouse on a separate audio channel, no automation just the performance u know. And that also includes the loop's start and end, what a pity, those are the most interesting parameters when automated, has anyone a similar sampler capable of doing these in mind? thanx

Indeed some parameters cannot been accessed with automation.

Users always want more and that's how the thing evolves
