well, the idea is you map the 8 follow action clips to 8 pads, so yes those pads are then 'taken over' and can't be used for other triggering, but ONLY on that midi channel. you can simply change to another scene on the pK which transmits on another midi channel and use that for other triggering of vsts etc.

Thanks, I was under the impression you could only light the pads on the PadKontrol via SysEx messages, which require that you switch it to Native mode. If they light the pads using MIDI or some other method, that opens up a lot of other cool possibilities as well .
